Two Models for Targeted Leak Risk Mitigation
Different liquids call for different detection methods. The LOD90 Series offers two dedicated models, rejecting compromised one size fits all solutions.
LOD90 Oil Leak Detection Model: Equipped with dedicated oil-sensing cables, it delivers precise response to hydrocarbons including diesel, gasoline, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and transformer oil. Critically, it resists interference from humidity and condensation. It works reliably in plum-rain seasons, underground cable trenches and areas with air conditioning water drips, eliminating false alarms.
LOD90 Solvent Detection Model: Fitted with dedicated solvent sensing cables, it detects common organic solvents such as toluene, dichloromethane and ethylene glycol. It readily identifies pipeline seepage in chemical plants, reagent spills in laboratories and liquid accumulation within containment bunds of solvent storage tank farms.
The two models share identical main units; the difference lies in front end sensing cables. Simply select the matching cable for your monitored medium to achieve professional grade detection performance.
Why It Outperforms Ordinary Leak Detection Solutions
1. Fast response with accurate judgement
Built on highly reliable detection circuitry, the module triggers an alarm within seconds upon leak occurrence. More importantly, it distinguishes two abnormal states: cable breakage and liquid leakage. The break fault indicator lights up for cable damage, and the leak indicator activates for liquid spillage. Fault types are clearly displayed, avoiding misidentification between cable breaks and actual leaks.
2. Intuitive status display for zero threshold on site operation
Featuring an integrated LCD screen and LED indicators, the module clearly shows its running, leakage or break fault status at a glance. Physical keys on the unit allow direct modification of communication addresses — no laptop or software required. On site operation and maintenance staff can finish configuration within one minute.
3. Manual automatic dual reset for flexible mode switching
Certain scenarios (e.g. gas stations, laboratories) require manual reset only after on site confirmation of hazard elimination, while unattended remote sites demand automatic reset. The LOD90 supports both modes, switchable via a DIP switch or parameter setting, removing selection related headaches.
4. On site linkage plus remote monitoring for dual side management
Local linkage: Two groups of SPDT relay contacts (rated 220VAC/2A) directly drive sound light alarms, cut off solenoid valves or exhaust fans. Responses take place instantly without upper computer intervention.
Remote monitoring: A built in RS485 interface adopts the standard MODBUS RTU protocol. It easily connects to BMS building management systems, SCADA industrial control systems or third party environmental monitoring platforms for centralized supervision, mobile push alerts and large screen alarm notifications.
5. Sensing cables up to 30 metres long: flexible layout and robust construction
A single sensing cable can reach up to 30 metres. It can be laid along pipelines, wrapped around tank perimeters or mounted against walls for full range coverage. With a 10 mm diameter and minimum bending radius of merely 50 mm, it adapts well to corners and bends. Its maximum tensile strength is ≥80 kg, resisting damage during installation and pulling. Cable connectors achieve IP68 protection rating, tolerating short term immersion.
Broad Compatibility with Simple Installation
The main unit adopts an ABS housing with IP65 protection rating, suitable for outdoor deployment and dustyhumid environments.
12 VDC low voltage power supply with reverse polarity tolerance: incorrect wiring will not burn out the device.
Wall mount design with detachable terminal blocks; ordinary electricians can complete installation and commissioning.
Operating temperature: 10 ℃ ~ 80 ℃. Stable performance for cold northern winters and hot southern summers inside equipment cabinets.
